Senda bouyahya
Artist. Cultural heritage researcher. Project founder.
Focus on Islamic art, manuscripts, and heritage grounded in research and material study.
My work is a multidisciplinary investigation into the material and structural logic of the Islamic arts. By combining an engineering background with traditional calligraphic mastery, I deconstruct historical scripts—from the early Kairouani Kufic to the monumental Kiswa—to understand how the physical labor of the scribe intersects with the management of prestigious cultural assets. My mission is to preserve and revitalize regional North African traditions through a lens of scientific rigor and sustainable social enterprise.
